How to restrict what a user can see

User Restrictions (from a user’s row on the Users page › Edit Restrictions) controls which assessments a user can open.

Assessment access

Choose one of these (they are mutually exclusive):

  • See all assessments — full access to every client and site. This overrides the client and site restrictions below.
  • See only own assessments — only assessments this user created. Client and site restrictions still apply on top.

Client and site restrictions

  1. On the Client Restrictions tab, tick the clients this user may access. A ticked client gives access to all of that client’s assessments.

  2. On the Site Restrictions tab, pick a client, then tick the individual sites the user may access.

  3. Changes save as you tick / untick.

Order of effect

“See all” wins over everything. Otherwise: own-only (if set) × ticked clients × ticked sites all narrow what the user sees.
