How to use import profiles

An import profile (transfer profile) tells BRS how to turn incoming data — from a risk assessment or an upload spreadsheet — into BRS tasks, tests and standard answers. One profile can be reused for every site set up the same way.

Steps

1. Open Administration › Standards › Import Profiles.

2. Add New — choose the Company and give the profile a clear name (for example “Legionella monthly + quarterly”).

   

3. Open the profile to set up its rules — which tasks to create, at what frequency, which tests each carries, and the standard answers / limits to apply. Use Preview to check the result before relying on it.
