How to set a user's site access and permissions

User Restrictions (reached from a user's row on the Users List) controls what one user can see and do per site — a finer level than their software role.

Steps

1. The page lists every site in scope for that user, with a count.

   

2. Tick the sites you want to change (Selection › Select All selects them all), then click Alter.

3. In Role Settings, set the User Level for those sites and tick the responsibilities that are theirs. Save.

Copy another user's settings

Copy lets you pick an existing user and apply their site list, levels and responsibilities to this user — the quickest way to set up someone who does the same job as a colleague.
