How to retire, reactivate or delete a site

From the site list row menu, administrators can change a site's status or delete it.

Retire or reactivate

  1. Open the row menu and choose Site Status.

  2. Retire this site keeps all the history but takes the site out of day-to-day lists, scheduling and reporting. Activate the site brings a retired site back.

Retire, don't delete

When a contract ends or a building is handed back, retire the site. The record stays available for audit and can be reactivated. Retired sites show a pause icon in the list and can be filtered on.

Delete

Deleting cannot be undone

Delete permanently removes the site and everything recorded against it — visits, results, nonconformities, documents. Only use it for a site created by mistake. If you are not certain, retire it instead.
