Customise Site › Merge Risk Assessment brings the structure of an L8MS risk assessment into a site you have already built — matching its systems, locations and assets to yours rather than creating a new site. Use Retrieve RA instead when the site does not exist yet.

Select a risk assessment to merge into this site.

Systems — review the systems from the assessment against those already in BRS.
Match or add locations — for each location on the assessment, match it to an existing BRS location or add it as new.
BRS locations no longer referenced — decide what to do with BRS locations the assessment does not mention.
Match or add assets — the same match-or-add step for assets.
BRS assets no longer referenced — review assets the assessment does not mention.
Remedial actions — choose which remedial actions from the assessment to bring in.
Merge summary — check what will change, then confirm the merge.
Take your time on the match stepsMatching an assessment location / asset to the wrong BRS one moves history against it. Where you are unsure, add it as new and tidy up afterwards. Run the site planner after a merge if tasks changed.
